Brane Mozetič is a poet, writer, translator, editor, publisher, activist, promoter of Slovenian literature abroad, and much more. To date, he has published fourteen books of poetry, three novels, a book of short stories and four picture books for children. There has been over forty translations of his books, mostly in Italian, Spanish, English and German. He himself, meanwhile, has translated over thirty books, including Rimbaud, Genet and Foucault. He edits the Aleph and Lambda series, and he has edited many anthologies and presentations of Slovenian literature for foreign audiences, as well as four anthologies of homoerotic literature. He oversees the programme for the annual “Živa književnost” (Living literature) festival, and for over twenty years he has coordinated the Ljubljana LGBT Film Festival. He is also the author of three provocative artistic actions/installations.
