Davorin Lenko novel Bodies in the Dark hosted in Berlin

On 11 December, the Slovene Writers’ Association, in cooperation with Periskop (an association that links creative Slovenian and German minds), and the newly established Slovenian Cultural Centre in Berlin, hosted Davorin Lenko. He appeared at TAKE IT SLO(w) SONNTAG to present a new translation of his Bodies in the Dark, a novel which won both the Kresnik Award and the Society of the Slovenian Literary Critics’ “Kritiško sito” award. The German translation, Körper im Dunkeln, is by Ann Catrin Bolton and it was published in the Litteræ Slovenicæ series as part of the Small Literature in Major Languages project. The project is supported by the European Commission’s Creative Europe project (for literary translation in 2015) and the Slovenian Book Agency.
